The Googled Designer – UCLA, May 13, 2006
May 6, 2006
ArtdayLA is a free public event which celebrates art, design and writing in their many forms. This year's theme is, "Explore the Art within You", and will feature 32 mini-lectures, panels and demonstrations taught by over 60 artists and arts professionals, most of whom teach for UCLA Extension. I will be leading a class called, The Googled Designer: The Computer/Network is Your Newest Client. It's all about how design gets noticed by computers (SEO) and humans, and how designers are re-focusing to create design clarity for electronic systems in order to transmit outstanding designed environments to humans.
